Buhler to offer webinar on metallographic preparation of nonferrous materials

Lake Bluff, Ill.-based Buehler, an ITW Co. and manufacturer of value-added consumables and material testing equipment, will host a series of metallographic preparation webinars. The first in the series, “Preparation of Nonferrous Materials,” focuses on aerospace applications. The complimentary webinar is available in four time zones in English, German, and French. It will run from September 25-27.

The seminar will cover the preparation of traditional and advanced aerospace materials, including common problems and how to avoid them. It will delve more into fundamental considerations for materials, including aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber, ceramics, and superalloys; and applications, including fasteners, coatings, and components.
