Mahr Inc. announces staff appointments, promotions

Providence, R.I.-based Mahr Inc., a family-owned provider of dimensional metrology equipment, has announced several staff changes.

The company has hired Lara Rapport as quality manager. She is a certified ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor with more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and quality management. Rapport has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and an MBA in global business from Northeastern University.

Anthony Clang has been promoted to laboratory technical manager, overseeing the company’s two calibration labs. He joined the firm in 2003.

Dave Perron, who has 18 years of industry experience, has been promoted to manufacturing engineering supervisor.
