Yaskawa introduces direct-teach, plug-and-play HC series cobots

Yaskawa Motoman has introduced the six-axis HC10DTP and HC20DTP collaborative robots. Hand-guided programming allows users to direct-teach points without a pendant, and an ISO standard tool flange and electrical connections facilitate a plug-and-play approach for robot deployment.

The cobots are suitable for assembly, dispensing, machine tending, material handling, packaging, and welding. Power and force limiting technology constantly monitors force to react quickly and safely to contact, and advanced pinchless geometry adds safety. A through-arm Category 6 Ethernet cable, I/O cable, and dual air lines eliminate external utilities while offering simple setup of a variety of communication options for tooling.
