Coe combination straightener/reel designed for light-duty applications

Coe Press Equipment has introduced a coil straightener/reel combination for stampers and roll formers that process light-gauge materials to produce components such as brackets, hinges, and moldings. Combining unwinding and straightening in a single machine, the system can be paired with the manufacturer’s ServoMaster 1 or 2 servo roll feed to form a complete press feeding line.

The system can process MCRS, aluminum, and stainless in thicknesses from 0.32 to 0.125 in. and widths from 3 to 12 in., depending on the material thickness. It can handle coil weights up to 4,000 lbs. and achieve line speeds up to 50 FPM.

The machine is offered with right-to-left configuration and is powered with 440 VAC. The straightener features nine 1.97-in. power-driven rolls with 3.30-in.-dia. entrance pinch rolls and a photo loop sensor.
