MG M 2060 H four-roll plate bender handles material up to 60 mm thick

MG SRL offers the M 2060 H four-roll plate bending machine. It pinches the plate between the two central driven rolls, prebends the leading edge, and rolls the body of the part along with the trailing edge in one direction and in one pass. The plate is kept square, without slipping, during both prebending and rolling cycles because of the constant clamping of the bottom and top rolls.
With its 520-mm upper roll, the machine can bend a 60-mm-thick sheet over a working length of 2 m. Its Touch Command EVO helps the operator give the sheet the desired shape in series production, whether cylindrical, oval, squared, or with multiple diameters.
Side roll parallelism is maintained by a torsion bar system that connects both ends of the roll, eliminating the weakness of extra encoders and hydraulic circuits. The two central rolls are driven by hydraulic motors and planetary gearboxes, coupled directly to the rolls.
Available with this machine is the Touch Command EVO CNC. Its new closed-loop system constantly monitors the rotation and side roll positions. In addition, the material library can be adjusted to work with the material being received. After the operator makes test bends and inputs the diameters achieved, the computer understands that material’s springback and can automatically generate programs for nearly any shape required.
