Nidec Minster Corp. offers the Minster P2H-FX-160 servo press. With a low-inertia drive, the press features high acceleration and deceleration rates, a reduced stopping angle, and high overall efficiency, reports the company.

Engineered from Minster’s Piece-Maker design, the press is built from a cast-iron frame and an eccentric shaft forged from high-strength alloy steel for a full press tonnage rating and a 50 percent reverse load rating.

The nonproprietary Siemens servomotors that drive the press feature a liquid cooling technology that helps maintain thermal stability and cooler operating temperatures. These characteristics contribute to energy-efficient operation, long component life, and a clean operating environment., says the manufacturer.
