Start-stop cut-to-length line handles 80-in.-OD coil

Royalton Industries has developed a start-stop cut-to-length line for a U.S. customer. It includes a coil car with blocker rolls, cone-type uncoiler with AC feed-up drives, driven hold-down roll, peeler table with bottom pass line roll, entry feed rolls with exit side guides, two down-cut crop shears, powered scrap carts, thread table, automatic feed leveler, three-section drop stacker, hydraulic power supply, and all electrical components.
The line handles carbon steel with 60,000-PSI yield in coil ODs up to 80 in. and IDs from 20 to 30 in. It processes coil weights up to 60,000 lbs. in widths from 42 to 84 in. and thicknesses from 0.120 to 0.500 in. and cut lengths from 10 to 50 ft.
