VICTOGRAIN®, offered by PFERD, is an abrasive grain with precision-formed abrasive grain triangles that are identical in shape and size. Their cutting edges are applied to the workpiece at the optimum angle so that each grain needs very little energy to penetrate the workpiece, the company states.

Each abrasive grain triangle is firmly fixed on one of its sides to the backing material. The very fine crystalline structure helps ensure optimal wear as sharp cutting edges are always exposed, with the minimum amount of abrasive breaking off from the triangle.
