Bosch X-Lock angle grinder interface speeds accessory changes

Bosch has released the X-Lock interface for angle grinders. It offers a tool-free grinder wheel change that eliminates the need for spanner wrenches or flange nuts. An audible snap indicates a secure, proper connection when an X-Lock wheel is mounted on an X-Lock grinder. The wheel is released from the grinder with the pull of a lever, which the company says is up to five times faster than a conventional interface.

Available accessories include bonded wheels, diamond wheels, flaps discs, wire wheels and cups, backing pads, and fiber discs. Most are backward-compatible with standard 7/8-in. mounts.
