Machine removes hard dross after fiber laser cutting

The Jonsen SGB1300 is configured for removing hard dross after fiber laser cutting (such as a saw blade) by a wide belt head and deburring and edge rounding all interior and exterior contours of the parts by a pair of top and bottom patented abrasive block belts. It increases output for fabrication shops while consuming less abrasive media than other types of two-side deburring machines, the manufacturer states.

The machine can run either the wide belt and the patented abrasive block belts individually or together in processing parts up to 51 in. wide. It performs hard dross removal, deburring and rounding on top and bottom surfaces in a single pass, and surface finishing.

The company has a technical center in Vancouver, B.C., and partners in the U.S. and Canada for customer support. Visitors to the show can bring samples.
