Multimetal cleaner provides fast degreasing

Madison Chemical has introduced AquaBlue™, an alkaline detergent for removing dirt, oil, grease, sulphurized cutting oils, and metalworking fluids from a variety of surfaces, including stainless. The water-based cleaner/degreaser has superior penetrating and wetting properties, making it suitable for general-purpose cleaning and challenging degreasing applications, says the company.

Applications include the cleaning of components during maintenance and repairs, floors, machinery, equipment, and engines. It can be used as a spray, in foaming or gelling applications, as a soak, in ultrasonic tanks, and with pressure washers.

With an application of 1 to 5 percent by volume, the product is safe to use on ferrous, stainless, aluminum, and zinc alloys.
