NanoRustX NanoPrime nontoxic rust converter can be applied to damp surfaces

NanoRustX offers NanoPrime, which it says is the first multipurpose, zero-VOC, 100% nontoxic rust converter. The water-based, single-component product converts iron oxide into iron phosphate and creates high-strength adhesion to rusty, clean, painted, or galvanized steel. It also delivers excellent single-coat adhesion and corrosion protection when used on aluminum, the company states.

Comprising nanopolymers that create a chemically bonded layer, the product prevents under-film corrosion when used with low-VOC topcoats. It can be applied to damp surfaces, requires no sandblasting, prevents surface cracking, requires minimal protective equipment when applying, and isn’t sensitive to chlorides.
