PFERD has added a 6-in. disc in 40 and 60 grit, in 7/8-in. and 5/8-11-in. hub versions, to its line of POLIFAN® Z SG Power Steelox flap discs. The zirconia alumina Z abrasive delivers optimum stock removal on high-powered angle grinders, even at high contact pressures, the company states.
The flap discs, specified for use on steel and stainless steel, are suitable for work on weld seams, chamfering, blending, and deburring. They are available in flat and conical shapes in various diameters from 4 to 7 in.
