Sander safety scale measures openings between belt/disc and table

Danray Products LLC has introduced a sander safety scale to verify that the openings between the belt and disc and the tables on sanders are 1/8 in. or less.

The bronze-colored scale about the size of a credit card is made of 0.090-in.-thick anodized aluminum. The text and graphics are easy to read and will not rub or scratch off, according to the company. A 0.25-in.-dia. hole in the scale allows attachment to sanders, and the ruler along the back edge measures openings for compliance.
