Ultra-Bond 2187 from Madison Chemical protects pretreated surfaces from corrosion

Madison Chemical has introduced Ultra-Bond 2187, a dry-in-place pretreatment for precleaned metal. This zero-phosphorus solution forms a homogeneous organic/inorganic layer on pretreated metals, providing corrosion protection and enhancing paint adhesion for pretreated surfaces painted with powder or piqued paints.

The product is applied in a 1 to 3 percent concentration for 30 to 90 sec., and it does not require a postcoating rinse. It is suitable for use with ferrous, aluminum, zinc, and stainless alloys when used as directed.
