CS Unitec’s Trelawny™ Vibro-Lo™ VL series low-vibration needle scalers are designed to remove coatings, corrosion, and accumulated materials from metal and masonry surfaces. According to the company, the unit offers eight times less vibration than traditional needle scalers, which helps reduce operator fatigue and prevent injury.

An optional dust shroud helps protect workers from potentially hazardous dust and maintain a clean working environment when the tool is attached to a vacuum and appropriate PPE is used.

The pneumatic tool provides up to 3,000 blows per minute. It is suitable for irregular surfaces that are otherwise difficult to prepare. Other applications include cleaning and stress-relieving weld seams and steel joints.
