Walter Surface Technologies’ Enduro-Flex ALU flap discs designed for aluminum blending, finishing

Walter Surface Technologies has introduced the Enduro-Flex ALU™ flap disc for aluminum blending and finishing. This abrasive was developed for working with heat-sensitive metals such as aluminum and other nonferrous alloys.

The disc’s zirconia alumina grain blend is free of iron, sulfur, and chlorine. It features a coating that prevents load-up and glazing, as well as Eco-Trim™ trimmable backing.

The disc is available in 4-1/2-, 5-, 6-, and 7-in.-dia. sizes with grit values of 40, 60, and 80. RPM ratings are 8,600 to 13,300.
