Walter Surface Technologies offers Instant Polish and Ultimate Shine flap discs
Walter Surface Technologies has released two flap discs for polishing and finishing projects.
Instant Polish™ is suitable for fast, single-step finishes. According to the company, it can achieve a No. 8 mirror finish in one step. It can lower metal roughness averages (Ra) by 20 micro-inches and achieve mirror finishes at an Ra of less than 4 micro-inches on tough polishing jobs.
Ultimate Shine™ is delivers a definitive mirror finishes with an Ra rating less than 1 micro-inch. It is safe for use on stainless steel, steel, and nonferrous metals with used with an angle grinder.
Both discs are available in 4-1/2 and 5 in. dia. for use at a maximum 7,300 RPM and optimal 2000 RPM.
