Bystronic Inc. has introduced the ByStar Fiber XL laser cutting system in two formats: 6225 and 8025. Users can process material 8 ft. wide and in 20- or 26-ft. lengths without repositioning. The company’s BySoft 7 software offers intelligent nesting algorithms.

The laser system can be equipped with the Fiber 3000, 4000, 6000, 8000, 10000, or 12000 laser sources, depending on the user’s requirement. It handles cutting applications with extra-wide metal sheets, as well as smaller sheets lined up on the cutting table. Users can prepare sufficient raw material to allow the fiber laser cutting system to cut the sheets consecutively without interrupting the cutting process for a longer period of time.
