LVD Strippit’s Taurus FL offers extra-large capacity

LVD Strippit has introduced Taurus FL, a new large-format, gantry-style fiber laser cutting machine engineered for extra-large sheet metal cutting capacity. The modular machine has a 39-ft.-long bed that can be expanded in increments of 6.5 ft. to a maximum length of 131 ft.

The system can process extra-large sheets or multiple sheets and handles varying batch sizes, shapes, and material types. It accommodates workpieces up to 10.8 ft. wide and 1.18 in. thick.

Large parts can be processed without repositioning, while multiple smaller workpieces can be positioned on the cutting table and processed without interruption. Parts can be cut on one section of the table while loaded/unloaded on another.
