MVD iLaser fiber laser cutting machine features light, rigid bridge for increased speed

MVD offers the iLaser fiber laser cutting system. It features high-efficiency servomotors and a light, rigid bridge, which has helped increase the machine’s speed from 150,000 mm/min. to 220,000 mm/min. and acceleration from 2.5G to 4G, in turn increasing production efficiency by 20%. Cutting time also has been shortened by applying a continuously accelerating motion instead of a constant-speed movement.

Regardless of the material type and thickness, parameter values are adjusted automatically without operator intervention. Features include side covers for easy maintenance access, a rigid body, and rack-and-pinion power transmission. The system comes ready to use, with the laser source, head, and control connected before transport.
