Mazak Optonics Corp. has introduced the Optiplex Nexus Fiber S4 4-kW laser cutting machine with 2D flying optics. It offers Variable Beam Parameter Product technology for laser beam control, which enables users to select anything from high-intensity, small-spot-size beams to large, doughnut-shaped beams.

The system is equipped with the Mazatrol PreviewG CNC, which offers a 19-in. LCD touchscreen that operates similar to a smartphone or tablet.
