TRUMPF’s TruLaser Series 1000 includes automated loading/unloading

TRUMPF has re-engineered the TruLaser Series 1000. The machine now can be automated with the manufacturer’s entire automation portfolio. The laser system autonomously handles more processes to reduce cost per part, states the company.

Equipped with collision protection, the machine processes various material types and thicknesses. Protective glass monitoring and BrightLine fiber, previously available only in higher 2D laser classes, have been added to help optimize cutting processes and boost machine productivity.

The new series comes in two styles: TruLaser 1030 fiber and TruLaser 1040 fiber, with work areas of 5 by 10 ft. and 6 by 12 ft., respectively. The TruDisk solid-state laser operates at constant power and is impervious to back reflections from copper and brass.
