TRUMPF TruMicro pulsed lasers perform microprocessing

TRUMPF Inc. offers the TruMicro 5370 and TruMicro 7380 short and ultrashort pulsed lasers for microprocessing. They can be used for cutting, drilling, ablating, annealing, and structuring of a variety of materials.

The TruMicro 5370, the third generation of the 5000 series, delivers higher output power and pulse repetition rates. It offers excellent astigmatism, which delivers beam roundness over the full confocal length, the company reports.

The TruMicro 7380 laser is optimized for use with line beam optics for laser liftoff, photo bleaching, and surface annealing applications. It delivers 400 W of short-pulse, 343-nanometer output with high pulse energies. The optical output is designed for optimum line beam homogeneity.
