Accure·tec AC001 adapter from Walter aids machining with long milling tools

Walter has introduced the Accure·tec AC001 adapter, a patented damping system for vibration-free milling when using long tools. It is suitable for deep-pocket milling in operations at depths of up to 4xD.

The vibration damping is provided by the axially and radially flexible positioned damper element that is preset at the factory so tools can be used immediately without fine-tuning.

Applications include components with deep cavities in aircraft construction and the aerospace industry in general, as well as the automotive, energy, die/mold, and general metalworking industries.
