Overhead Automated Conveyor Carrier from Therma-Tron-X handles small to heavy parts

Therma-Tron-X Inc. offers the Automated Conveyor Carrier, an overhead conveyance system comprising carriers that provide consistent point-to-point movement of small to heavy parts. Each carrier travels on a dedicated system. When switching is required, the control system communicates to the system’s sensors via access points to give carriers instructions on what to do at each decision.

The battery-powered, individually programmed vehicles run wirelessly on an I-beam without chain. Carriers are propelled along the I-beam using a spring-loaded traction drive wheel. The system is equipped with automatic charging stations located along the path.
