Prab’s Bundle Breaker prevents metal scrap conveyance delays

Prab Inc. has introduced the Bundle Breaker, a conveyor enhancement that preconditions stubborn metal scrap bundles for improved material transfer, processing, and safety.

The unit installs in a conveyor’s infeed hopper, where dual rotating cylinders agitate the material, shredding apart stringy wads of chips, turnings, and bundles to allow for effective processing in downstream equipment. It may be added to an existing conveyor or incorporated into a new metal scrap processing system from the manufacturer.
