Mate introduces QCT Metric A and B station punch drivers

Mate has announced the availability of its QCT Metric™ A and B station punch drivers. These long-stem punches also are known as Mate Original Style or Amada Style.

The punch drivers use the company’s QCT™ punch-retention system. They may be used on rounds or shapes. The punch inserts are made from the company’s M4PM™ steel. During punching, the shoulder of the punch remains securely guided, the manufacturer reports.

The driver portion (below the stem) is made from high-speed steel. It comes standard with proprietary SuperMax™ coating for extended life.
