Linsinger’s Raptor circular cold saws use low-maintenance electromechanical components

Linsinger has released the new Raptor line of circular cold saws. Hydraulics have been eliminated, so components such as pumps, pipelines, hoses, and accumulators have been removed. This contributes to quiet operation and a reduction in the cost of consumables such as hydraulic oil, seals, and filters.

The line uses low-maintenance electromechanical components with high energy efficiency. These components help improve positioning and repetition accuracy, and when paired with thin-cut circular saw blades, they help ensure optimum usage of the material over the entire length.

Depending on the material dimension, the clamping jaws of the machine can be prepositioned simply into an optimized initial position, which helps save time on each sawing cycle. The clamping force can be varied depending on the material or wall thickness of pipes and profiles, helping to prevent deformation.
