3-D printing system increases production volume capabilities

HP Inc. has introduced the HP Jet Fusion 3D 4210 printing system designed for industrial-scale 3-D manufacturing environments.

According to the manufacturer, the system lowers overall operating costs while increasing production volume capabilities, raising the break-even point for large-scale 3-D manufacturing to up to 110,000 parts (5-cu.-m parts) and offering a cost per part up to 65 percent less than the average cost of comparable fused deposition modeling and selective laser sintering printers.
