Cartridge collectors offer up to 85,000 CFM

Clean Air America Inc. has introduced the BRAHM™ series of cartridge collectors, offering up to 85,000 CFM. Features include a decreased can velocity, lower internal static pressure losses, refined control loops on the variable-frequency drive, and enhanced pulsing algorithms that increase filter life, the company reports. With the addition of zero-downtime pulse cleaning and speed pulsing, the collectors help increase productivity while simultaneously improving air quality, states the manufacturer.

The Synapse™ touchscreen control panel allows for scheduled run times, integration into the manufacturing process, self-diagnostics, and data capture, which further reduce maintenance costs. The new design features many personnel-focused changes, including quick-change filters, toolless filter clamps, plug-and-play connections, and fast-action latches.

The collectors are suitable for production applications including welding, grinding, sanding, and laser/plasma cutting. Features include rotary air lock, economizer for automatic start/stop, silencing for noise reduction, and weatherproofing options.
