Ductless ventilation system removes welding smoke

The Clean Air Tower from Kemper is a ventilation system suitable for production halls and workshops where local extraction of welding smoke is insufficient or impossible. It protects employees and machinery from welding smoke contamination and fine dust.

The freestanding, two-stage filter unit requires little floor space. Contaminated air is absorbed continuously at a 360-degree range around the top of the unit, purified, and slowly released back into the welder's breathing zone. This creates a low-impulse air circulation with virtually no turbulences.

Self-cleaning filter technology helps ensure nonstop operation, while contamination-free dust disposal offers increased safety for employees, according to the company. Air recirculation helps minimize heating and cooling costs. Integrated crane eyes help simplify installation.

The unit is 46 in. dia. by 140 in. high, delivering efficiency of more than 99.97 percent.
