Eriez portable sump cleaner generates up to 110 gal./min. suction

Eriez has increased the vacuum flow rate on its portable sump cleaner. The unit now generates up to 110 gal./min. of suction to eliminate sludge and chips. According to the company, the unit cleans a typical CNC machine tool sump of sludge in 10 to 20 min.

The cleaner removes the cutting fluid, sludge, and chips from the sump; filters the sludge and chips from the fluid; and returns the filtered fluid to the sump or transports it to a coolant recycling system for processing.

The machine is available in capacities from 50 to 1,000 gal. It features a discharge nozzle that can be used like a pressure washer to rinse out sludge and break it apart for removal.
