Low-profile stoppers block pipes instantly

COB Industries offers a low-profile stopper for applications in which insufficient length of pipe is available for typical cylindrical or spherical stoppers. It can fit into a pipe end that is directly on an elbow or just inside a flanged neck on a casting. Other applications include blocking pipe ends to keep gases inside or to keep debris and vermin out.

When used in a vertical mode, the stoppers can prevent machine swarf or tools from falling into pipes, such as in a nuclear power steam turbine.

They are available in sizes 6 to 88 in.
