Arc/spark OES metal analyzer offers reduced measurement time
Spectro Analytical Instruments has introduced the seventh generation of its SPECTROMAXx arc/spark optical emission spectrometry (OES) metal analyzer.
The unit uses lower volumes of argon, with consumption cut from 18 to 60 percent depending on the configuration. Redesigned technology has cut measurement time by 15 to 20 percent. An argon-saving sleep mode cuts gas consumption.
Proprietary iCAL calibration logic requires one sample and 5 min. for total measurement. Spark Analyzer Pro MAXx software offers a simplified view, dedicated toolbar buttons, and application profiles tailored to user requirements.
