Buehler’s DiaMet hardness software available for legacy Wilson testers
Buehler, an ITW company, has announced the DiaMet™ hardness software upgrade now is available for legacy Wilson testers. The software can integrate and transform legacy testers to help improve quality management. It saves measurement results automatically and generates test reports.
With the use of digital imaging, testing is simplified and ergonomically improved for the operators, since filar eyepiece measurement no longer is required. The measurement process provides consistent test results among multiple operators, states the manufacturer.
The upgrade package includes a USB3.0 digital camera, camera cable, and workstation. The test program or test job may be categorized in folders, and the filtering feature allows easy recalling of test program/test job.
