Calipers’ encoder technology eliminates need to reset origin
Mitutoyo America Corp. has released renewed 500 series IP67 Absolute Digimatic coolant-proof calipers. Its encoder technology eliminates the need to reset the origin.
The automatic power on/off shuts down the LCD after 20 min. of inactivity, but the ABS scale origin is unaffected. Power is restored to the display when the slider is moved. The calipers can be integrated into SPC and measurement systems.
