Leica Absolute Scanner LAS-XL offers largest scanning field

Hexagon Mfg. Intelligence has introduced the Leica Absolute Scanner LAS-XL ultralarge-scale portable laser scanner. Designed for industries and applications that require speed of measurement and metrology-level accuracy, the scanner offers an expanded measurement field and point acquisition rate to digitize large parts and surfaces quickly.

The scanner offers a scan-line width of up to 24 in. and a measurement standoff distance of up to 3.3 ft. This flexibility makes the unit suitable for mapping large blade surfaces, as well as for digitizing aircraft and rail carriage interiors. It is accurate to within 150 microns.
