Origin’s CheckMate for SOLIDWORKS automates CMM programming from drawings

Origin Intl. Inc. has introduced CheckMate 2019, a new release of its SOLIDWORKS® add-in designed to improve the efficiency of inspection. The new Measure All feature analyzes the CAD file and converts all hole, cylinder, and surface plane features to measurements, eliminating the need to capture common measurements from drawings. Measurement defaults are input only once, during setup.

The add-in has added measurement results to the SOLIDWORKS file and displays the results as part of the manufacturing digital twin. The tolerance condition of each feature is displayed graphically. Model faces are colored green (in tolerance), red (high), or blue (low).

Graphic programming enables inspection technicians to build multiple programs in seconds by picking and clicking. The add-in analyzes the part and the measurements to develop an inspection program that will run in the least possible time for more than 50 different CMM makes.
