Rigaku Analytical Devices publishes application study for PMI analyzer

Rigaku Analytical Devices has published an application study that describes the use of the hand-held KT-100S laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy analyzer for positive material identification (PMI) and verification of metal alloys.

The application study presents precision data for common alloys used in petrochemical and power plants, including low-alloy steels, stainless steels, and nickel and copper alloys.

An alloy grade library is included, which provides most common grades used in refineries and other production environments.
