Tablet laser measurement app works with two different hardware configurations

The LabMax-Pro mobile app from Coherent Inc. enables operation of the company’s laser power and energy sensors using a tablet computer with an Android® operating system. Its measurement capabilities include instantaneous power reading, pulse shape analysis, beam position, and data logging and statistics. It also can save data files and share them among mobile devices.

The app can be connected by USB cable either to a LabMax-Pro meter, which delivers high-speed measurements to enable real-time analysis of modulated or pulsed systems, or to PowerMax-Pro USB sensors, which integrate traditional meter functionality within the sensor head cable to allow meterless laser power management.
