DIY CNC plasma splash guard
A used faucet-line cover makes for a very handy splash guard on a CNC plasma table. Just punch a hole in the center big enough to fit your machine torch. It slips on a little snug, which keeps it in place. This really helps keep the water from splashing up against the torch body and keeps the gantry clean.
Also, I attached a piece of LEXAN to the bottom of the magnetic breakaway. Now virtually
no part of the gantry gets splashed.Jason Wipf
