Boostweld gets trademark for patented GMAW gas flow technology
Taipei, Taiwan-based Boostweld has been granted a trademark for its patented GMAW gas flow technology, which reduces shielding gas consumption by 70 percent at optimum velocity compared to other GMAW systems, according to the company.
The patent, awarded in April 2017, outlines an insulator with an interior air chamber and guiding wall that stabilizes the shielding gas pressure.
