ESAB Welding & Cutting to donate portion of equipment sales to hurricane relief
ESAB Welding & Cutting Products has announced that with every shipment of select products between now and Dec. 31, 2017, the company will make a contribution to support Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma relief efforts.
For this initiative, the company has selected some of its highest-volume products—ESAB Rebel™ 215ic and 235ic welding machines; Thermal Dynamics® Cutmaster® 60i manual plasma cutters; and Victor® Journeyman Edge™, Journeyman 450, and Performer oxyfuel outfits—in an effort to reach the donation goal of $250,000 as quickly as possible. Contributions will go to Operation USA, which has delivered more than $400 million in aid for relief and development projects. Founded in 1979, Operation USA has a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, including a 100 percent rating for accountability and transparency.
