Harris Products Group technical adviser dies
Mason, Ohio-based Harris Products Group has announced that Doug Perry, longtime technical adviser to customers, distributors, and the Harris sales team, died Dec. 31 in Flowery Branch, Ga.
For more than three decades, Perry was instrumental in developing and patenting several gas technologies that positively impacted welding and brazing operations. Throughout his career, he traveled across the country helping companies with technical issues related to gas apparatus and systems. He was a prolific writer of articles for industry publications and was called upon regularly to be a subject expert by industry organizations and in legal cases.
