Lincoln Electric announces senior management promotions

Daniel E. McMillin Jr.

Cleveland-based Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. has promoted Daniel E. McMillin Jr. to vice president, corporate controller and Robert A. Nelson to vice president, finance for the Americas Welding segment.

McMillin joined the company in 2004 as the director of financial reporting and most recently served as vice president, finance, Americas Welding segment. Before that he held various finance and accounting positions with RTI Intl. Metals and Coopers & Lybrand. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ohio University and is a certified public accountant.

Nelson joined Lincoln Electric in 1998 as an accountant and has held numerous roles of increasing responsibility in accounting and operations. Most recently he served as general manager, Machine Division in the Cleveland operation. He is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Lincoln Electric manufactures arc welding products, robotic arc welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment, and brazing and soldering alloys.
