Lincoln Electric names executive VP, chief human resources officer

Cleveland-based Lincoln Electric, a manufacturer of arc welding products, robotic arc welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment, and brazing and soldering alloys, has promoted Michele R. Kuhrt to executive vice president, chief human resources officer. She joined the company in 1997 as director of taxes and later served as company officer and senior vice president, tax. She has served as executive vice president, CIO since 2016.

Before joining the company, she was with Elsag Bailey Process Automation (a unit of ABB) and Pricewaterhouse Coopers. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management.
