Miller and Hobart transition to new ISO 9001:2015 standard
Welding and cutting equipment manufacturer Miller Electric Mfg. Co. and filler metal provider Hobart, both subsidiaries of ITW (Illinois Tool Works), have earned upgrades in their quality certification. Both companies’ quality management systems have been registered to ISO 9001:2015.
The standard specifies requirements for a quality management system that demonstrates an organization’s ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system.
