Pemamek Oy Ltd. to expand
Welding and production automation company Pemamek Oy Ltd. has announced plans to expand its production premises in Loimaa, Finland. The new facilities will enable the company to improve deliveries of its laser welding and intelligent robot systems. The expansion is expected to be complete by the end of 2016.
The company has named Jaakko Heikonen as the new CEO. He joined the company more than 10 years ago, working most recently as vice president. Outgoing 28-year CEO and owner Pekka Heikonen continues with the company as a full-time chairman of the board.
The firm plans to open a U.S. office in the near future.
