RoMan Mfg. appoints COO

RoMan Mfg., Grand Rapids, Mich., a manufacturer of water-cooled, high-current, low-voltage welding power sources, has promoted Nelson Sanchez to the newly created post of COO. Sanchez, who joined the company in 2013, previously served as chief financial officer.

In his new role, Sanchez oversees the company’s engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, human resources, and purchasing functions. Before joining the company, he held executive positions in finance, marketing, and business management at Windquest Companies, Kaydon Corp., Ridgeview Industries, and Deloitte Touche. He holds bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business administration from Aquinas College.
